Swedish Cup

Planning the FC Rosengård schedule with periodisation. We are going to play the first game in the group stage in about 12 weeks. The preperations starts now with a periodisation plan for this period. My goal is to prepare the players both mentaly as physically.

The players have been away for 3 weeks after last season ending where we finished at 6th place. Last week we had two sessions and the objective was to get them started. Now we will start with three sessions per week (monday, thuesday and thursday) and my goal is to have as much as possible exercises with a ball. On tuesdays they will have football conditioning traning (FCT).

This week I am gonna have individual talks about their fitness and what they need to do for themselves to be prepared for the nest cycle in january.

When I plan a schedule I consider always the physically of the indiviual player ant their fitness. Then I make sure the plan conisist the following attributes:

  • Cardiovascular
  • Stamina
  • Strenght
  • Mobility
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Coordination
  • Agility
  • Balance
  • Accuracy

Always do what the body is built for – And YES it is built for all you can think of and more…much more.
